Solar Cinema – Last Screening this Saturday Night!
The weather is looking great – Pippa’s Fancy Work House will be in the House (well park actually) and the biggest full moon for two decades will be making a surprise appearance. Don’t forget FAR’s Autumn Equinox Fancy Work party Sunday night…
See you there !?! Of course!
Solar Cinema indoors today (13th March)
The weather is looking a bit wild, so we’re sheltering inside our bluestone studio, but the firetruck solar system is coming down so we can have a solar powered indoor cinema! Wow, are we innovative or what!
First Solar Cinema a success!
In a lovely setting down by the river, we watched some great movies, met some new people and learned a bit more about our local evironment…
We had some great visitors down too – Uncle Larry Walsh and Peter Somerville from the Blackbird came down, together with some local familes from Edgewater estates just downriver.
We have two more screenings today and next Saturday, so check our program for details!
Got any plastic packets, shiny metal tins, recycled building materials, or paint?
We have two big recycled material construction projects going on down at FAR!
Pippa’s Fancy Work house needs plastic packets and bags, all shapes and sizes (it’s going to have a verandah!)…
Shrine and Emma’s stage needs building materials – 2×4 lengths of timber, paint, window frames, shiny metal tins and cans – all kinds of pretty and useful things to make it beautiful…
Come down to FAR on the Maribyrnong this weekend and see what’s going on –
Artists Shrine, Emma-Lee and Maitreya crew in the house…
Yep, we have a big visiting crew down at F.A.R. H.Q. to decorate Maitreya Festival’s main stage shrine-style!
Emma-Lee Luther – Rainbow Serpent Festival’s Arts Director is working with renowned artist Shrine (US) to build something great in our house for Maitreya…
Check out Shrine’s page and see some lovely stuff :
